Sustainability

On-demand by default.

Print on demand isn't a perfect green story, but it's a meaningfully better one than the fast-fashion default. Here's where we are and what we're working on.

No deadstock

Every product is made when you order it. We don't pre-print or warehouse inventory, which is the single biggest source of textile waste in apparel — most fast-fashion retailers throw away or incinerate 20–40% of what they produce.

Where things are made

Orders are routed to the closest production facility to your shipping address — almost always within North America. That cuts down on long-haul freight and gets your order to you faster.

Materials

Our blank apparel is sourced primarily from suppliers offering OEKO-TEX certified fabrics. Where possible we lean toward higher cotton blends and avoid the cheapest synthetic options. Stickers use a recyclable vinyl with water-resistant inks.

Where we're falling short

We're upfront about the things we haven't solved yet:

  • Most apparel is still cotton-blend, not 100% organic.
  • Shipping uses standard carrier networks, which means trucks and planes.
  • Returns aren't always re-sellable. We're working on a donate-or-recycle path.

What's next

Carbon-neutral shipping at checkout, a plain-English supply chain page, and an organic-only product line are all on the roadmap for the coming year.
